Leadership experience in Science, Technology, IT and Higher Education
As a coach, I am passionate about helping leaders to build better relationships within teams and their organisation to support collaborative working practices. By approaching leadership through a coaching lens, we can better support individuals and teams in challenging times, building upon existing, trusted connections. My vision is to demonstrate that everyone is a leader within their particular area of expertise. That we can lead change, become more effective as a mentor/coach and truly empower others in our circle of influence.

My coaching style
My personal coaching style recognises that everyone has their own story. Trust, respect and understanding build the foundation for a coaching relationship. I provide a confidential and emotionally safe environment to support growth by listening and sometimes challenging the perception and ideas of coachees. My main focus is to tailor each session to the individual client, encouraging leadership skills based on a true understanding of self, while supporting reflection and personal growth.
A successful session will ensure the client feels they have been truly heard, leaving with new enthusiasm, insight and a clear path forward. Past clients in frontline and middle management leadership roles, continuously provide feedback that they have left the session with a new mindset and a positive way forward. I am passionate in my pursuit to help create the next generation of successful leaders.

My Story
Have you ever asked yourself what makes you who you are and why people can relate to you? I can only answer these questions for myself, I think I am, like everyone else – a unique combination of work experience, study and accreditations.
Where did I start?
I started in 1995 working at the Technical University in Vienna in Computer Science. I still had to finish my business studies and I was a single mother of a beautiful son. IT was a male world and it took me a while to prove that I was equal with my non-technical skills. I managed an IT department, I organized two large conferences with over 600 participants on ‘Pattern Recognition and Image Processing’ and was fortunate to be able to organize one of them in Brisbane for the University of Queensland (UQ). I fell in love with this country and with my now husband.
Both of us are keen to perform in our sport, we met when he was training for the Paralympics in Sydney.
A new life started with my migration and it was hard to find a job. Back to free lancing as a designer and translator for Business Consultants in Vienna and Germany, using my tech and business knowledge and offering something unique for the year 2000 – 24hour turn around production – they sleep I work. Eventually I found a job at UQ in Multimedia Design as admin staff and lecturer, responsible for all international students’ study plans and back to organizing events.

The journey continued
I was given the opportunity to start a full-time job at QUT and for 17 years I was managing a team of support officers and developers. Even in 2008 it was not easy to be a female Team leader managing IT staff with mainly male colleagues. It formed me and created new opportunities.
In 2015 my boss was convinced that I would be a good professional to coach and mentor other women in STEM and so my next journey started that led me to be an Accredited Executive Coach while still leading a team of IT specialists. Today I work as a coach and mentor with anyone who is determined to make a change in their life.
When you coach and mentor and love learning, you automatically get drawn into psychology and neuroscience, my new passion.

Story about the name “Mauspet”
25 years ago when I came to Australia I needed a name for my freelance job with Business Consultants in Vienna and my genius husband came up with the idea of combining our nicknames – Maus the German spelling and Pet for Peter. Through the years it always stayed with me. I named my property on the beautiful Sunshine Coast Mauspet and all my foals have it in their name. So when I started in April 2025 my coaching business, what better name to choose. It is truly me.
